The Verona Arena, the Roman amphitheatre symbol of the city of Verona, has always been home to national and international music icons every summer, attracting thousands of spectators from all over the world. How can you blame them anyway? Nothing compares to the magical atmosphere that this scenario creates. From its historical-artistic value, to the setting under the stars, from the exceptional acoustics to the great scenographic impact of the choreographies; there are many factors that make the Verona Arena a unique and spectacular place to say the least.
Also for this summer 2019, the calendar is full of events and concerts, and the level of guests and concerts is very high. The first to kick off the musical season were The Journalists, with the pop voice in the splendid form of their front man Tommaso Paradiso. Afterwards, the great film composer Ennio Morricone, who for the occasion celebrated 60 years of his exceptional musical career, and the award-winning Italian singer Marco Mengoni, who with his new single “Hola” is firmly at the top of most important radio rankings and digital platforms.

Follow on May 29th and 30th, two unmissable dates of a great name famous all over the world, Elton John, with his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, and on July 8th a crackling stop on the King Crimson world tour, that this year celebrate their 50th anniversary.
In July, to mark the great voices of the Opera Season in the Arena, Mark Knopfler will take turns on the stage on July 22nd and the most famous Italian prog band in the world, PFM with Cristiano De André. You will have to wait for September, instead, to be able to listen to Evanescence during their only Italian stop, and Eros Ramazzotti who, with his “Vita ce n’è” world tour, will bring back to the Arena all his greatest hits ever.
This amazing summer 2019 will be closed by David Garrett and his band with “Unlimited – greatest hits – live”, Francesco De Gregori, accompanied for the first time not only by his historic band but also by an orchestra of 40 elements, and Nek (Filippo Neviani), the Italian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who last year registered a sold out of 12,000 people at the Arena.
